Some other service fees may apply from time to time. Non-Profit organisation (some conditions apply) and solicitor nominated trust accounts are exempt from cash handling and clearance fees.

*When you use your Westpac card to make an overseas transaction, you’ll pay a foreign currency fee. This fee is made up of two parts: a portion charged by Westpac (currently 1.50%) and a portion charged by the credit card scheme that processes the transaction, i.e. MasterCard or Visa.

Security registration/discharge/amendment fee
(includes such items as discharge of mortgage, release of guarantees/life policies, execution of consents, priorities, variation memorandums that alter security arrangements through acting solicitor, and also collection of life policies under assignment. Fee is inclusive of $3 government registration/release fee where applicable).
Additional disbursement charges may apply in some circumstances (eg where complexity and/or negotiation of non standard documentation is required) or where no solicitor is involved. Quotation is available on request.

Cash handling fee
Cash handling will be charged when the amount of cash deposited to or withdrawn from an account in any charge month* is $75,000 or more at the following rates (the fee applies to the full amount deposited.)

Additional costs may apply for special requests such as large coin or cash deposits and withdrawals.
