Features of the Retirement Plan
you have a choice of three portfolios, each providing a different spread of investments  
option of investing by regular payments, lump sum payments or both  
ability to withdraw all or part of your investments once you’re 60. Withdrawals may be made earlier in certain circumstances at the trustee’s discretion, e.g. financial hardship  
you will receive a membership advice notice and an annual report each year  
as this is a PIE your investment will be taxed at your prescribed investor rate.

How much do you need to invest?
Your approach to investing can be as flexible as you want it to be. You can make regular investments or pay in lump sum investments.
 Payment type Minimum investment
Regular investments $1200 per year—choose to pay this weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, or annually.
Lump sum payments $5000 minimum for first lump sum; $1000 each lump sum after that.
Initial service, administration and other charges
an initial service charge of $100 applies for lump sum payments only. For regular investments made by direct debit or automatic payment the initial service charge is waived  
a weekly administration charge of $1.95 (plus any GST) applies. The administration charge is waived for regular investors with balances under $5,000, making payments by direct debit or automatic payment (subject to certain conditions)  
a management fee of up to 1.75% p.a. (plus any GST) of a portfolio's gross assets applies. A management fee rebate may apply to certain investors (see Investment Statement for details).

Westpac Retirement Plan Prospectus
A prospectus for the Westpac Retirement Plan has been registered. You can download a copy at www.business.govt.nz/companies (search the "other registers" for superannuation schemes and enter 1802136).
You can get a copy of the investment statement for any securities for which an investment statement is required from any Westpac branch in New Zealand. Disclosure Statements for Westpac Investment Advisers are available on request and free of charge from any Westpac Investment Adviser.
