To qualify for International Student Pac you’ll need to
have a valid student visa
attend a Westpac approved tertiary institution*
be studying fulltime for six months or longer
provide evidence of enrolment
have any regular income (such as wages or lump payments from home) paid into your Easy Access account
* Most Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education are approved institutions. If you’re not sure if you qualify, just call us on 0800 400 600 (7 am to 11pm, 7 days a week).
Your International Student Pac charges are
phone banking: 50c per call after the first five calls per month
mobile banking and txt alerts: 25c per txt plus your mobile provider’s usual txt charges
using another bank’s ATM: $1 per transaction
amendments to automatic payments will incur a charge of $2 if made online or $5 if made over the phone or in branch
Transaction and service fees are current as at 11 February 2012 and are subject to change. Some other service feesmay apply from time to time. Separate service prices apply for the savings account.
Please complete the form in English. Take it to your nearest Westpac branch to open your account. We’ll then arrange all your chosen International Student Pac accounts, cards and access.
