How do I find a job at Westpac?
To find a job at Westpac you can
visit our job search page to see what jobs are on offer  
view a list of all current vacancies, or  
search based on geographic region, Westpac location, job type or job function  
Or you can use the keyword search facility to
locate a specific job number (e.g. from an advertisement), or  
to search for opportunities that match your job interests and criteria  
If you find something of interest
you can immediately apply for the role online  
If your search does not find any opportunities
you can submit your work experience and career interests in your profile  
we can email you when we have a job opening that matches your job interests

How do I apply for a job at Westpac?
The online application process should take around 10 minutes.
When you find a job of interest
click the ‘apply online’ button on the jobs detail page  
new users will need to create a personal account with a username and password  
you’ll need this information each time you apply for a job or submit/update your profile  
We’ll ask you for
some basic details about yourself  
your CV—you can cut and paste it in, or attach a soft copy  
We’ll also ask you some questions related to the job
this helps us match your skills and experience to the job

What happens when I return to the Careers at Westpac job search or profile systems?
Returning candidates can access their account with their username and password at any time.
View or update your profile information at any time
click on ‘your profile’ and sign in as a 'returning user'  
Any time you apply for a position with Westpac
sign in as a 'returning user'  
the application form will automatically incorporate existing profile information  
view job details and answer any additional questions relating to the job

Can I apply for more than one position?
Yes, you can apply for any job that you feel you are qualified for.
If you have created a profile
your information is saved in the Westpac Careers database  
registered details will be automatically included into any subsequent application

Once I apply online, do I need to contact you?
No. Once you have submitted an online application, you don’t need to contact us unless we ask you for additional information.
All the information needed to consider your application is contained in your online application.

Will you contact me about my application’s progress?
Once we receive your application
we will email you an acknowledgement  
you’ll be contacted for further consideration if your skills match the job requirements  
If your application is unsuccessful we will ask if you would like to be emailed about future jobs.

Update your job profile by
accessing the Careers at Westpac section of our website  
logging in as a ‘returning user’

Yes. You can select to be notified of future job opportunities that meet your criteria when you complete your profile information online.

New jobs are posted regularly—often daily—so we encourage you to visit the site frequently to see what’s new.

this will send an email to your friend notifying them of the vacancy
