Halberg Trust

The Halberg Trust was founded by Sir Murray Halberg over 45 years ago. It aims to honour sporting excellence while also providing opportunities for people with disabilities to be active.

Westpac is the Principal Sponsor of the Halberg Trust.

Each year the Trust celebrates New Zealand’s sporting achievements at the Westpac Halberg Awards Dinner. The awards are acknowledged as this country’s premier sporting evening.
