How does the 55-day interest free period work for Westpac personal credit cards?
Up to 55 days interest free credit on your purchases
applies to interest charged onto purchases if your credit card’s closing balance is paid in full by the due date  
consists of 30-day statement cycle and up to 25 days until payment due date  
Pay statement balance in full by its due date
purchases made on first day of next statement cycle will get 55 days interest free  
closing balance of new statement must be paid in full by due date  
Cash advances
55 days interest free benefit does not apply to cash advances  
cash advances accrue interest from the day they are made  
cover cash advances in your full payment to get interest free credit on purchases

What is the foreign currency fee that applies to overseas transactions on my card?
Foreign currency transactions using your credit card
foreign currency fee is 2.50% of transaction amount

What is a late payment fee?
A late payment fee of $25 per statement is charged when the minimum payment has not been received prior to the payment due date.

When is interest charged?
If you get a cash advance interest will be charged on the outstanding balance of cash advances (including cash advance fees)
daily at our current credit card cash advance interest rate
from the date of the transaction until the relevant amount is paid in full
If your card statement balance is not paid in full by the due date
interest will accrue daily on your opening balance  
interest will accrue daily on new purchases from their transaction date
interest will stop accruing on purchases once full payment is received
If you transfer a balance from another account at another institution
interest is calculated from the date the balance is transferred until the relevant amount is paid in full
interest will be charged on the outstanding balance of balances transferred from accounts at other institutions

What should I do if I find transactions on my statement I haven’t made?
You can dispute transactions you didn’t authorise. You must contact us within 30 days of the statement date that includes any transaction you want to dispute.
Before disputing a transaction, consider
a merchant’s invoicing name may differ from their trading or retail name
can you match your credit card receipts with the disputed transaction?
could it be for an online purchase?
could the transaction have been made by an additional card holder?
have you dealt with this merchant before?  
have you signed a contract with this merchant relating to this transaction?

My credit card expires this month—how do I get a replacement?
Westpac credit cards expire at the end of the month.
If you live in New Zealand
your credit card will be automatically re-issued before the 20th day of the expiry month
this is free of charge**
If you live overseas:

Titanium SideCard daily purchasing limit—how high can it be?
Your Titanium SideCard daily purchasing limit can be as high as you want, so long as it isn’t higher than your credit limit.
